Account Executive
The primary purpose of the Account Executive role is to foster both internal and external relationships, ultimately driving company sales and facilitating account growth. This multifaceted position requires a combination of sales expertise, strategic thinking, exceptional customer service and effective communication skills to navigate the complex landscape of voice, carrier, and IT products and services.
Essential Duties:
- Sales and Quota Achievement: Actively sell voice, carrier, and IT products and services to existing and potential clients, consistently meeting weekly key performance metrics as well as monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the key point of contact for developing and maintaining crucial customer relationships. Actively seek client feedback and satisfaction to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Strategic Input: Provide valuable input to product, market, competitive, and marketing strategies to enhance overall sales objectives.
- Territory Management: Take ownership of the assigned territory, traveling throughout and periodically visiting other offices. Implement effective strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Collaboration and Communication: Interface with technology teams, management, and top-tier executives to guide projects, resolve issues, and formulate successful sales strategies. Regularly communicate with stakeholders internally and externally.
- Networking: Utilize social media and networking tools to expand business contacts, connect with potential clients, and build relationships with referral partners.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms, conditions, scope of work, pricing, and renewals with both customers and prospects.
Other Duties:
Perform additional department-related tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Experience/Education:
- Sales and Account Management: Prior experience in sales and account management is required.
- Sales Experience: 3 years of outbound sales experience preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: 1-2 years of experience in IT and/or Telecommunications is preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, ZoomInfo, ConnectWise) and MS Office is preferred.
Physical Environment:
- Work Setting: In person/remote office setting.
- Location: Must reside in the assigned territory.
- Travel: Travel within the assigned territory is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds.
