Through consistent collaboration and strategic planning, Granite has delivered modern infrastructure upgrades and ongoing technical support that strengthen communication, connectivity, and system performance across county facilities.
As a government entity responsible for public safety and essential services, Park County required a stable and secure technology environment across multiple departments and locations. Many facilities operated in remote areas where reliable connectivity and network performance were critical. Outdated cabling, limited redundancy, and inconsistent network management created risks for communication systems that support emergency response and public operations.
In addition, government operations required strong security standards and compliance focused technology solutions to protect sensitive data and maintain reliable communication between departments. The county needed a trusted technology partner capable of delivering long term infrastructure planning, rapid support, and modern network solutions aligned with public sector requirements.
Granite implemented a comprehensive technology strategy designed specifically for government and municipal environments. The project included upgrades to network infrastructure, implementation of secure connectivity solutions, and modernization of communication systems across county locations. Granite established CAT6 cabling as the standard throughout facilities, ensuring reliable and scalable network performance.
A year long SD WAN deployment was completed to improve network performance, centralize management, and provide secure connections between multiple sites. Redundant internet connections were also installed across remote offices to ensure continuous access and minimize downtime for essential services. Granite provided consistent monitoring, system updates, and responsive technical support to maintain performance and reliability.
The project included secure multisite connectivity, upgraded network equipment, reliable SD WAN implementation, cloud based phone systems, and structured cabling improvements. Backup internet connections and properly labeled infrastructure helped improve both security and operational efficiency.
These upgrades supported government security standards and helped protect sensitive operational data while ensuring reliable communication between departments responsible for public safety and community services.
Park County and the City of Livingston experienced significant improvements in connectivity, reliability, and system performance. Network redundancy and SD WAN implementation enhanced communication across departments, while upgraded cabling and infrastructure improved long term stability.
Granite’s responsive support and proactive planning helped ensure that essential services operated without interruption. The partnership also extended beyond technical support, reflecting a strong commitment to community needs and long term collaboration.
